Working in hospitality since age 14, owner Vanna Belton decided to go back to her hospitality roots in 2014. In 2015, FLAVOR was born, a restaurant, lounge, and catering concept committed to serving all of Baltimore regardless of race, nationality, sexual orientation, gender, or religious background.
When asked what drove the inception of FLAVOR, owner Vanna Belton, whose background is in front of house fine dining, had this to say: "I wanted a space where people could come as they are and eat, drink, and laugh."
FLAVOR offers delicious American bar food made from scratch. Serving favorites from its original menu, FLAVOR continues to introduce new recipes under current Executive Chef, Jennifer Taylor.
In 2016, FLAVOR received the Best New Bar award from City Paper. Owner Vanna Belton was the recipient of the Small Business Administration's (SBA) Maryland Women Owned Business of the Year 2017.
In 2018, Vanna received the Enterprising Women of the Year award from TAGG Magazine. Further, she is the first recipient of the Top LGBT-owned Company award from the Baltimore Business Journal (BBJ), which she received in 2018.
Food has always been the central glue to the FLAVOR family. At FLAVOR, we want you to be a part of our family, enjoying delicious food, fresh cocktails, and high quality service.
